  9. Two hundred carefully chosen pieces of image data have been compiled. The 
  10. product runs on both Macintosh and Windows programs and any image data can 
  11. be selected by using dedicated browsers in a similar manner as in on-line 
  12. catalog transactions.

  46. How to Use the Browser for Windows

  48. [Starting up]

  50. Open the CD-ROM drive from "MyComputer" and double click the "Sozai"
  51. icon.

  55. - Scroll
  56. Click the click button to scroll one or four lines at a time.
  57. You can jump to a targeted destination using the scroll bar.

  59. - Display of Path Names
  60. A red frame appears around the material clicked and the path name of
  61. the low-resolution file (BMP File) will be displayed on the lower part 
  62. of the screen.
  63. Click while pressing the [Shift] key to show the path name of the
  64. high-resolution file (JPEG File).
  65. Press Ctrl+C to copy the path name of the file.
  66. Press Ctrl+V to paste the copied filename. Use this function to paste
  67. a filename onto the Windows' [File Search] dialog, etc.
  68. Functions for calling images directly from the browser, or pasting 
  69. images on the browser themselves onto the clipboard are not available.

  72. [How to Use Files]
  73.  
  74. When capturing SOZAIJITEN images into other application software, 
  75. first copy the file onto the hard disc and then capture them.
  76. Fifty files are recorded into CD-ROM folders JPEG2950, BMP640, PICT640,
  77. in numerical order respectively. On Windows, PICT files may be used 
  78. only in applications supporting the PICT form. Select the file type 
  79. according to the application, and copy the file numbered that you need 
  80. to use onto an optional folder on the hard disc. For instructions as 
  81. to how to capture images in application software, refer to the manual
  82. of the applicationsoftware concerned. Generally, select such menus as
  83. [Open File] or [Read File].
